SENIOR MAINTENANCE TRAINER (Indefinite)

Design, develop, revise and develop maintenance and safety training modules and courses. Analyze and determine training needs/gaps for both individuals and groups. Provide theoretical plant, safety and on-the-job training. Facilitate external training suppliers if required. Maintain and administer training records and files, and provide training support and solutions to department supervisors and managers. Manage technician Qatarization training programme, administration and coaching. Require completion of Secondary school followed by a further 3 years education to HND level in an Engineering discipline. 6 years as Maintenance Supervisor in Petrochemical industry including 2 years as Trainer with the emphasis on OJT. Trade test certificate in mechanical skill will be an additional advantage.

SUPERINTENDENT MAINTENANCE SERVICE CONTRACTS (Indefinite)

Reports direct to the Head of Maintenance Support, leads and manage a multi-discipline maintenance services and contracts dept. Is accountable and responsible to manage activities for the preparation, execution, control, and ensuring adherence to SHERQ requirements, for all Maintenance Service Contracts which includes Civil, Mechanical, Electrical/Instrumentation, Labour, Minor Projects, and other maintenance related contracts as required by the maintenance strategies. The biggest challenge for the position is to ensure that the best services providers are given contracts to provide services for the company; this includes getting the best terms and conditions to ensure meeting the company’s technical standards/expectations; ensuring that all required services are available when required; 8 - 10 years working experience is essential Minimum of 5 years in the Oil & Gas sector in a related line of work is essential; this would include experience in multi-disciplines of engineering and Contracts engineering; Oil & Gas experience in Qatar or GCC is preferred. Bachelors Degree in the Mechanical Engineering Discipline is preferred.

SUPERINDENDENT-Abnormal Maintenance-(Definite 2 yrs)

Superintendent report to the Head Mechanical Maintenance and is responsible for managing all abnormal maintenance shutdown of equipment/s related to unplanned functional failure, deviation from approved maintenance strategy etc. Ensures the shutdown is adequately planned and scheduled as per detail scope of work and ensures integrity of corrective tasks performed, by specifying quality control during task execution based on Total Quality Management (TQM) in the organization. Assist in the validation of business processes such as maintenance policies, procedures and instructions in the quality management system, spare parts, training, shutdown management activities and sub contractor strategies Establish working environment to manage all abnormal maintenance plant shutdowns effectively according to internal business process. Require relevant Bachelor degree with 8 years added maintenance experience. Petrochemical industry: 4 years minimum experience (progressive experience). Superintendent; 2 years in Abnormal/shutdown/turnaround maintenance.

SUPERINTENDENT MAINTENANCE INSPECTION (Indefinite)

B.Sc. Engineering Degree or HND in Mechanical/ Metallurgical Engineering. CSWIP 3.2 or equivalent certification and valid ASNT Level II certification in UT, MPI, DP and Radiography Interpretation. Experience in managing and leading an Inspection department. Inspection specialized skills. 6 years experience in Maintenance environment (mechanical), VUP inspection, design, fabrication, modification and repair and Inspection services in the international Petro Chemical/ Oil & Gas Industry. Knowledge on degradation mechanisms of equipment in process units. Extensive Technical Knowledge of international fabrication codes and standards. Manage and coordinate activities for inspection, fabrication, modification and repairs of all Stationary Equipment, Piping and Structures in order to maintain the Integrity and ensure relevant and technically sound reports are compiled of Inspection findings of all Stationary Equipment, Piping and Structures. Recommending corrective action for non-conformities and assisting in the development of national employees.

SUPERINTENDENT MAINTENANCE PLANNING (Indefinite)

Degree in Industrial Engineering or NHD required. Must have experience in a Petrochemical plant. System knowledge of SAP R/3 and Critical Path Planning Systems required. Experience to manage a Planning and Scheduling Department which will organize information, order materials, schedule services and co-ordinate activities in a way that reduces the total maintenance time and cost required under pre-planning conditions. Planning and scheduling of Routine Maintenance processes as well as Shutdown Planning.

PLANNING AND SCHEDULING ENGINEERS (Indefinite)

Engineering Degree with a minimum of 7 years experience in an Oil/Gas Petrochemical Plant holding a similar position in an established Maintenance Planning Department. This experience should have been within a SAP R/1 environment. Working knowledge of Primavera, MS Project and Artemis. Experience should include work management, shutdown management business processes as well as Spares and other resource planning.

MECHANICAL FOREMAN (STATIC EQUIPMENT OR ROTATING EQUIPMENT) (One position indefinite and two positions for 2 years definite)

Reporting to the Supervisor of mechanical maintenance, the Foreman ensures by direct hands on field supervision the availability, reliability and integrity of static or rotating equipment of the plant. Foreman is also responsible for the training and development of subordinate technicians, with special emphasis on the Qatarization coaching programme. Ensures compliance with budgetary parameters and participates in daily maintenance planning activities to meet the department’s KPI/objectives. Require Higher Diploma in mechanical engineering, Minimum 8 year’s mechanical maintenance experience in total. Four years experience in petrochemical industry is essential, of which 2 years served in supervisory capacity.

MAINTENANCE SERVICES MECHANICAL FOREMAN

Performs activities in a multi-discipline maintenance environment. Is responsible for the supervision of work perform by contractors, ensuring adherence to SHERQ requirements, for all Maintenance contracts, as assigned. The biggest challenge for the position is to ensure that contractors perform to contract requirements; ensure meeting the company’s standards/expectations/schedules; 5 - 8 years working experience is essential Minimum of 3 years in the Oil & Gas sector in a related line of work is essential; Oil & Gas experience in Qatar or GCC is preferred. HND or equivalent Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred.

ANALYZER SUPERVISOR (Indefinite)

Lead and develop Analyzer maintenance team. Implement Analyzer maintenance strategy for plant equipment. Carry out fault finding and critical task observations. Investigate all process related incidents. BSc or Technical Diploma (Instrumentaiton/Analyzer). Minimum 6 years Petro-chemical experience as Analyzer Supervisor.

INSTRUMENT SUPERVISOR (Indefinite)

Lead and develop Instrument maintenance team. Implement instrument maintenance strategy for plant equipment. Carry out fault finding and critical task observations. Investigate all process related incidents. BSc or Technical Diploma (Instrumentation/Analyzer). Minimum 6 years Petro-chemical experience as Instrument Supervisor.

INSTRUMENT FOREMAN (One Indefinite & One Definite for 2 years)

Coordinate all the maintenance activities between the technicians and the production, planning, support functions to ensure smooth work flow in line with MOR process. Gathers all necessary technical information and data required for execution of all maintenance activities as per SAP plan. HND or equivalent Diploma in Engineering. 10 - 15 years working experience, out of which minimum 5 years in the oil & gas sector in related line, this should include experience in multi-facets of instrumentation maintenance as senior technician or Acting Supervisory position.

MAINTENANCE MATERIAL FOREMAN (Indefinite)

The materials foreman will perform activities in a multi-discipline maintenance environment coordinates with all end-users in the Maintenance Department and the Commercial & Marketing Department to ensure availability and supply of Equipment Spares as per Maintenance schedules and requirements. The biggest challenge for the position is to ensure availability of spares and materials. 5 - 8 years working experience is essential with minimum of 3 years in the Oil & Gas sector in a related line of work is essential; Oil & Gas experience in Qatar or GCC is preferred. Knowledge of PMMS i.e. SAP is a must also knowledge in spares and material management systems. HND or equivalent Diploma in Mechanical Engineering is preferred.

SENIOR ELECTRICAL ENGINEER (Indefinite)

B.Sc Electrical Engineering. 8-10 years experience including 6 years Petrochemical industry. Lead and develop electrical maintenance team. Ensure electrical plant integrity, safety and engineer out electrical problems and integrity issues, coordinate and interface with Karahmaa, & have approved certification for High voltage switching with previous employees. Carry out fault finding, circuital task observation and investigate all process related incidents. Coordinate plant shutdowns and turnaround.

SENIOR METALLURGIST ENGINEER (Indefinite)

B.Sc Engineering. A minimum of 5 years experience including 4 years in Petrochemical industry. Provide technical expertise for welding processes. Lead and develop team in the equipment and piping risk review. Investigate failures and give input to maintenance strategies. Utilise software tools to establish condition based monitoring points. Project management function for implementation of allocated improvement projects.

CONTROL SYSTEMS ENGINEER (Definite for 2 years)

Technical Diploma or Degree in Control Systems/Industrial Instrumentation or Electrical Engineering. Training and certification in Foxboro DCS and Triconix PLC systems or other relevant DCS or ESD systems. A Minimum of 5 years petrochemical experience including 4 years in the following systems; DCS, ESD, Anti-surge, compressor control, Bentley Navada vibration monitoring. Responsibilities include; developing reliability systems and the optimization of control loops; fault finding on problem areas; ensuring system integration is maintained to the required high level and training peers and subordinates in all systems in your field of control.

MAINTENANCE ENGINEER (STATIC EQUIPMENT) (Definite for 2 years)

Mechanical Engineering Degree preferred although HND/B. Tech will be considered an alternative. 6-8 years similar experience in a Petrochemical environment is essential. Experience of GTL technology is a bonus. Experience with pressure vessels and piping. Ensures the integrity of static equipment throughout all process areas. Knowledge SHERQ best practices is also required as is knowledge of a CMMS, preferably SAP.

MAINTENANCE ENGINEER (ROTATING EQUIPMENT) (Definite for 2 years)

Mechanical Engineering Degree preferred although HND/B.Tech will be considered an alternative. 6-8 years similar experience in a Petrochemical environment is essential. Experience of GTL technology is a bonus. Experience with pressure vessels and piping. Ensures the integrity of rotating equipment throughout all process areas. Knowledge of SHERQ best practices is also required as is knowledge of a CMMS, preferably SAP.

MECHANICAL TECHNICIANS (STATIC/ROTATING EQUIPMENT) (Indefinite)

Maintenance experience of Reactors, Catalytic Reformers, Furnaces, Fired Heaters, Heat Exchangers, HP Vessels/Drums, Pressure Relieving Devices, Storage Tanks, Piping Components (Valves, Supports, Special Components), HP/MP Steam Boilers, Steam System, Water Treatment Plants, Fin Fan Coolers, Cooling Towers, Industrial Waste Water Treatment Plants, Fire Fighting systems. Experience of Centrifugal Pumps, HP Centrifugal/multi stage Compressors, Centrifugal Blowers/Fans, various Steam Turbines, Gear/Metering pumps, Reciprocating Compressors, Cooling Tower Fans, Shaft Alignment, Mechanical/Gas seal assembly. Require Higher National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 8 yrs experience in maintenance , of which 4 yrs in petrochemical industry.

SENIOR INSTRUMENT TECHNICIANS (Indefinite)

Experience of flow/level/pressure/temperature transmitters; Fisher-Rosemount Smart version transmitters and Masoneilan/Fisher smart control valve positioners. Experience on control valves (Masoneilan, Fisher, Metso), on/off valves and solenoid operated valves as well as troubleshooting various types of switches, regulators, filters, pneumatic field devices, ESD/DCS and Machine monitoring systems and control. Qualifications and certifications as qualified Instrumentation, Industrial, technician required.
