Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development is a private, chartered, non-profit organization founded in 1995 by His Highness Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al-Thani, Amir of Qatar. Guided by the principle that a nation's greatest resource is the potential of its people, Qatar Foundation aims to develop that potential through a network of centers devoted to progressive education, science and research, and community development.

Qatar Foundation and its Facilities Management Directorate would like to invite applications from suitably qualified candidates for the following positions:

Maintenance Co-ordinator Electrical

• At least 10 years of varied maintenance and operational experience in the field of Electrical Engineering. He must have hands on experience to maintain advance microprocessor based control panels; VFD's & must have handled LV & MV electrical installations.
• He must be familiar with the local KARAHMA standards & regulations.
• The incumbent must have a minimum of 5 years supervisory experience.  An aptitude and experience in microprocessor controlled chillers and Chillers Management System is mandatory.  Completion of secondary education, followed by 4 years Degree in Electrical Engineering is a requirement. Good knowledge of English (both written and understanding of technical manuals) is essential. 
• Must be very familiar with the use of the computer and its applications.  Very good interpersonal skills and adaptability to work in a multinational environment.

Maintenance Co-ordinator Mechanical

• At least 5 years of varied maintenance and experience in the field of Mechanical Engineering.
• The incumbent must have a minimum of 5 years supervisory experience.
• An aptitude and experience in large capacity water cooling systems & projects having piping and associated works, irrigation systems are essential.
• Completion of secondary education, followed by 3 years Diploma in Mechanical Engineering is a requirement.
• Good knowledge of English (both written and understanding of technical manuals) is essential.
• Must be very familiar with the use of the computer and its applications.
• Very good interpersonal skills and adaptability to work in a multinational environment.

Maintenance Co-ordinator HVAC

• At least 10 years of varied maintenance and operational experience in the field of HVAC. 
• The incumbent must have a minimum of 5 years supervisory experience. 
• An aptitude and experience in microprocessor controlled chillers and Chillers Management System is mandatory. 
• Completion of secondary education, followed by 4 years Degree in Mechanical Or Electrical Engineering is a requirement.
• Good knowledge of English (both written and understanding of technical manuals) is essential.  
• Must be very familiar with the use of the computer and its applications. 
• Very good interpersonal skills and adaptability to work in a multinational environment.

Maintenance Co-ordinator Civil

• At least 6 years of varied experience in the field of Civil Services.
• An aptitude and experience in providing Civil services to large & prestigious projects like air port buildings, multi star hotels, hospitals, schools, universities OR petrochemical plants is essential.
• Completion of Secondary (12 years) education followed by 3 years full time study leading to diploma in Civil / Mechanical Engineering.
• Good knowledge of English (both written and understanding of technical manuals) is essential.
• Must be very familiar with the use of the computer and its applications. Very good interpersonal skills and adaptability to work in a multinational environment.

Maintenance Co-ordinator Instrumentation

• At least 5 years of varied maintenance and operational experience in the field of Electronics and Computer applications.  
• An aptitude and experience in programmable logic controls, software based Fire Alarm, Building Management System, Chillers Management System, and Access Control System is mandatory. 
• Completion of secondary education, followed by 3 years Diploma in Electronics or Instrumentation Engineering is a requirement. 
• Good knowledge of English (both written and understanding of technical manuals) is essential.  
• Must be very familiar with the use of the computer and its applications. 
• Very good interpersonal skills and adaptability to work in a multinational environment.

Senior Operator

• Completion of Secondary (12 years) education followed by 3 years full time study leading to diploma in Mechanical/Process/Instrumentation Engineering.
• Candidate should be of 25 to 30 years of age.
• At least 5 years experience in Mechanical or Instrumentation plants and process operations, preferably in an oil/gas industry or refinery with exposure to chilled water production, and associated safety and shutdown systems.
• An aptitude and exposure to Programmable Logic Controls is desirable. Must be very familiar with the use of the computer with the knowledge MS office package and emails & good spoken and written English.

Landscape Infrastructure Inspector

• Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering
• Knowledge of agriculture engineering would be an added advantage.
• Good written and oral knowledge of English.
• At least 3 years ground maintenance experience which includes assigning and evaluating the work of grounds maintenance crews/contractors at two or more facilities.
• Good working knowledge of the methods of horticulture including irrigation systems.
• Civil maintenance experience and knowledge is desirable.
• English proficiency in the use of computers with knowledge in Ms. Word, Excel and Access.
• Prepare and maintains various records/reports, such as daily/monthly activities, weekly/monthly operation report.

Hard Landscape Engineer

• Diploma degree in related field.
• Minimum 5-10 years of experience in related area.
• Good communication skills in English.
• Computer literate.

Senior Landscape Technician

• Diploma in an Agriculture discipline.
• Good written and oral knowledge of English.
• Good knowledge on the modern irrigation techniques used for landscaping areas.
• At least 2 years landscape maintenance experience, of which 1 year must have included assigning and evaluating the work of grounds maintenance crews/contractors at two or more facilities.
• Good working knowledge of the methods of horticulture including, irrigation systems, planting, plant material, cultivating and caring for trees, shrubs, flowers and grass areas.
• Civil maintenance experience and knowledge is desirable.
• English Proficiency in the use of computers with knowledge in MS Word, Excel and Access.
• Prepares and maintains various records/reports, such as Daily/Monthly Activities, Weekly/Monthly Operations Report.

Transport Supervisor

• Five years of experience in a large transport service oriented organization, including two years of  supervisory experience in technical, administration and operations areas.
• Other combinations of experience in dealing with Event Management and education which meet the minimum requirements may be substituted. Good written and oral knowledge of English is essential.
• Good working knowledge of the methods of transport administration/operations and knowledge of safe working practices are essential.
  Fluency in spoken and written English. Proficiency in the use of computers with knowledge in MS Word, Excel and Access.

Waste Management Supervisor

• The position requires a Diploma in any Engineering Discipline with good working knowledge of the methods of common or typical waste management, such as source redution, collection, recycling, composting, incineration, landfilling, etc.
• Sound knowledge of safe working practice is essential.
• Fluency in spoken and written english. Proficiency in the use of computers with knowledge in Ms word, excel and access.

Hygiene Controller

• Administration or technical diploma in accupational health with 3 years related experience in occupational health and safety procedures.
• Fluency in spoken and written english.
• Proficiancy in the use of computers with knowledge in Ms word, excel, and access is desirable.
• Safety experience in Hospital or Medical Facilities are desirable.
• Good working knowledge accupational hyhiene and of safe working practice are essential.

Quality-Assurance Co-ordinator

• Must be an Engineering Graduate with good command of english language and good reporting skills.
• At least 8-10 years experience in the field of Quality Management System operations/certification.
• Must have exposure to maintenance of equipment / system in Oil/Gas sector or similar processing industry.
• Hands on experience in condition monitoring of rotating equipment is an added advantage.
• Good analytical skills with an attitude to go into the details are necessary.
• Must be computer literate with experience Ms. office, emails and ERP.
