Hi, "Face your deficiencies and acknowledge them; but do not let them master you. Let them teach you patience, sweetness, insight." – Helen Keller Everybody has disabilities and deficiencies. These are things that you were born with (or without) that you would rather like to change. You probably can’t do much about them. My hands perspire profusely in summer. Those of you who have shaken my hand, know what I mean. I can't do anything about it. I have at least 10, probably more, deficiencies. My hair... "What hair?" you ask. Exactly! ;-) You probably have a few deficiencies. But, you know what? They don't make any difference to your value as a person. Your value is inherent, based on the fact that you are a human being, not on anything else. You are still incredibly valuable. You are a Winner, and an Achiever, whether you are clever or not, whether you are musical or not. Your disabilities and deficiencies do play a part in shaping your purpose though. That's good. If you can't stand up in public and make a speech, or don't have rhythm, or not analytical, don't worry you won't need to be in order to fulfill your purpose. Or you may have a big nose or skew teeth - whatever. You can still be all you were created to be. Some blemishes can be removed such as getting a nose job. Or you can learn to dance fairly well, even if you don’t have good rhythm now. Just don't expect to win a gold medal in dancing. But most importantly ... Accept the things that you cannot change and change the things you can. Accept that you are not perfect. No one is, Affirmations:I accept myself the way I am I have a great purpose I have incredible value Be all you can be, With Fond Regards Arnfried Klein-Werner Motivator & CEO - Be Motivated Today |
